People First

People First is an independent advocacy charity that champions fairness and equality for people across the North of England.

They approached us in the Spring of 2023 as they were looking for some support in launching their inaugural People First Awards which celebrates the achievements of young people living with a learning disability.

Our team worked on branding the awards, giving them a style in keeping with the over-arching People First brand. We also developed several videos for the event, the presentation for the night, banners to dress the venue, and all marketing collateral including the awards programmes themselves. A key consideration when creating the materials for the event was inclusivity, ensuring the work we produced was able to be understood and enjoyed by a range of individuals with varying needs. Finally we worked to produce engaging PR in the run up to the event as well as post-event sharing the success of the evening and the achievements of the learners.

The event was a huge success and attended by individuals and businesses from across Carlisle and beyond.
